As long as they love me and are not an asshole or a cheater I don't care. We can take our meds together, they can take PrEP, they can take none. We can watch football and make forts and smoke pot together. If we don't want others to care so much about our status they are afraid of us, hoe do we do that when some of us are clearly afraid of each other?
It's not what defines you; we are special beings, and it's about not stigmatizing ourselves. It's not the end of the world or anything like that that's happening to them, and we're not extraterrestrials. We are human beings with a specific condition. That doesn't define us as people. We are fractal beings, and life goes on. Whoever wants to be with us is there; whoever doesn't can go to hell. We came into this world alone, and we leave it alone. Friends, I love you because I love myself.
Good points but there isn't really anyone out there that whats a partner with hiv. No matter how factual the science is, its seen safter to not be with someone that has hiv.
They use words like "possible" but now how "probable". Does everyone with hiv find what they are looking for are we subject to "stigma"? and that sigma only lasts as long as you let it.
How many jobs do hiv+ people lose because people are uncomfortable around them? How many + people report being lonely? Acting like stigma isnt anything to worry about is dangerous.
Doesnt matter if positive or not.
I simply don't let it define me , I'm greater than this
