CNN has a series on celebrities talking about there happy place. Made me wonder where is everyone’s happy place? A place where you can forget your infection and just be happy even if it’s just for a few minutes. Mines Vegas and Atlantic City. Definitely chasing waterfalls
My happy place is anywhere other than the gym! Lol! I'm definitely in my happy place getting a massage or having a pedicure. I enjoy learning new things, so I'm in my happy place in various classes, seminars & workshops. My work gives me purpose so that's definitely a happy place! Finally, my happiest place is actually no place at all-in meditation. My happiest place is 'within'. Being in gratitude for the wonderful experiences I've had and making space for even more wonderful experiences.
I have a very intensive job, I communicate with a lot of people, so for me an hour or two alone is the best rest.
My happy place varies, but essentially is whenever I put my focus. If I am reading a book, it has my attention. Lately I've been working on spring weeding; summer prep which I hope we complete this coming weekend. When I am out in my wooded areas pulling weeds and cleaning up the ground and pruning, it has my full attention and everything else falls by the wayside.
