Hey, I am new to living with hiv. I am 20 year old and was diagnosed 6 months ago. What programs can I sign up for if I lose my insurance?

That's right That is the last resort is Ryan White program in the United States. Unfortunately you're in Florida. I'm not trying to dig but Florida is a difficult state for people with HIV. They're cutting funding left and right in your state. Please look into it. Good luck.

@A myHIVteam Member, your medical case manager should be able to help you with that. I get insurance from the healthcare.gov website, and the ryan white program pays for the monthly premiums. I still have to pay all the copays and out-of-pocket costs, but ryan white pays the monthly premium. Your medical case manager can help you with this.
Also, under the healthcare.gov site, losing your insurance would be considered a life change to qualify.
