Here in the UK, housing is an enormous issue, with so many homeless people sleeping on the Streets. I made a very radical move last year, going from being a Landlord and becoming a Tenant. Housing challenges have been overwhelming throughout the planet. We have global migration and unsustainable housing costs.
Here in the US you can for Section 8 housing.
I think it’s 35% of your income for rent.
I have a friend she was in the country illegally she using this program for section 8,
nice into a 4 vein home, 2 bathroo, 2 car garage a big back years in a very nice community in San Diego county for $35O a month.
She lived there for a little over 5 years and was deported back to Mexico.
Now she lives a few blocks from the beach in Playas de Tijuana. I didn’t ask her what she pays for rent.
