Here in the UK, housing is an enormous issue, with so many homeless people sleeping on the Streets. I made a very radical move last year, going from being a Landlord and becoming a Tenant. I had no choice in taking that giant leap, as my London Apartment had fallen into complete disrepair plus there were issues with anti social behaviour. Housing challenges have been overwhelming throughout the planet. We have global migration and unsustainable housing costs.
Here in the US you can for Section 8 housing.
I think it’s 35% of your income for rent.
I have a friend she was in the country illegally she using this program for section 8,
nice into a 4 vein home, 2 bathroo, 2 car garage a big back years in a very nice community in San Diego county for $35O a month.
She lived there for a little over 5 years and was deported back to Mexico.
Now she lives a few blocks from the beach in Playas de Tijuana. I didn’t ask her what she pays for rent.
