A lot of us have ADAP as a supplement to our prescription plans. ADAP is afforded to most people living with HIV. It offsets the cost in copays a great deal.
Do you rely on this federal program?

I do and I am a bit concerned about the freeze to some of the federal programs and I'm not sure if this is one of them. The reason I posted this question is for a lot of you who's refills may be up or looking to fill very vital medications, Please do so sooner than later. Also for people who need procedures and/or exams and so forth Please do not wait and make sure that your insurance is active and make that appointment sooner than later as well.
Good luck everyone. ❤️🙏

Again thank you all for your response to this very personal situation that is going on here amongst some of us who rely on these federal HIV programs. Please be very clear that this is not over. The administration still intends to go along with its freeze but what they will do is dissect each program by program. What we can do as a collective is call your elected senator and house representative of your state that you are registered in. Make that call have them on speed dial and call and let them know that you are not in favor of these freezes. This also goes to those who receive SNAP and the elderly who rely on meals on wheels. Just because they rescinded the memo does not mean the intent is over Let's not be afraid🌈❤️🙏 let's organize & let's get angry .🌈🌈🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Just to make sure my friend you are a citizen right. You're not here illegally?
I only ask because those who are illegally here and receiving any type of benefits will be cut off so I just want to make sure you're going to be okay that's all.❤️❤️❤️

The AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) is indeed a vital resource for many people living with HIV, as it helps cover the cost of medications, including co-pays, for those with limited or no health insurance. If you're eligible, it can significantly reduce financial burdens. For more information, you can explore resources Show Full Answer
