As a Female who has had a child since my diagnosis I can tell you that as long as you take your medication, opt for a Cesarean section, do not breast feed, and take it easy your child can be free of the virus. My daughter is 8 now and is hiv- and I thank God and my doctors everyday. If you want to talk to someone who has lived that stressful time I am available
