This med is currently approved with medicare and hopefully medicaid. Adipose redistribution, fat gained/losses in areas should also improve as losing weight with this med is going to help. Weight gain is normal and annoying but better than illness.....but it is the antivirals that cause the metabolic issues...so do some research, reading on this GLP-1 medication that can help PLWH improve their health, quality of life and person self-esteem.
