@A myHIVteam Member, if you are going to be in Canada for just a short time, you can talk to your doctor. They can make a prescription for you for prep pills that will carry you over until you get back so you can go back on the shots. That would be your best bet, then you don't have to worry about trying to come up with cash for medication. The only bad thing is remembering to take a pill every day, but set an alarm on your phone as a reminder. At least this way, you know your insurance will cover it, it will get you by until your next injection.
