I Have Had HIV For Almost 20 Years. I Have Slowly Gained Weight Through The Years But I Am Hardly Every Hungry. Any Else Like This?

Year 2 of my meds my doc already started seeing signs of weight gain. I am never really hungry but I slowly keep putting on the pounds. The past 2 years I have been going to the gym and I can feel the muscle growth under all the fat. I eat high protein low carb but no real change. It's rare that I drink soda or alcohol. It's frustrating.

It can be tough. If feels like the meds make you insulin resistant. I intermittent fasted using the one meal a day and still managed to pick up weight after the initial weight loss. I was working out regularly, and nothing seemed to move my belly. Doing the same work out I did prior to my diagnosis was no longer effective. I've been on alternate day fasting at this point. And although, I'm almost back to normal. I wonder if weight gain is going to be a lifetime issue.
