Members came together to offer comfort and encouragement to someone newly diagnosed with HIV who was feeling sad and emotionally overwhelmed. Several members shared that starting medication as soon as possible is important, acceptance is a key first step, and leaning on a support group can make a big difference in staying grounded. A recurring theme was that an HIV diagnosis is not a death sentence, and that with the right treatment and community support, living a healthy and fulfilling life is absolutely possible.

The scary part is over now. You’ve got to process what’s happened and proceeded to move forward start medication and maybe therapy.

First acceptance is very important then adherence to drugs will flow very smoothly and be social at all times and then take your time for disclosure to specific person or persons whom you trust. And don't mind what people say about your status, they will talk but Don't mind being +ve is not a death sentence
