Members shared a wide range of heartfelt wishes about living with HIV, with the most common themes being the desire for a cure, affordable medications, better health, and relief from loneliness. Several members opened up about feeling like 'damaged goods,' struggling with high medication costs, and dealing with additional health challenges like cancer, liver disease, and dental issues, while others found comfort in giving back through volunteering and community chorus participation. A recurring theme was the deep longing for companionship and connection, with many members offering each other emotional support and encouragement to keep going.

Honestly, a vehicle. Six months ago, I moved to Athens Ohio from Huntington, West Virginia to gain control of my life and become a better person. I’m a recovering alcoholic with seven months and two days sober.!!!!

My wish would be that the greedy pharmaceutical companies and the government would stop letting him do this keep making billions and billions of dollars a year on treatment and actually release a cure you know they have one but as long as they're allowed to make billions of dollars in treatment it will never be released that's what I wish they'd prosecute these greedy pharmaceutical companies if they get medication to make it undetectable you know damn well since the 80s they've been working on it there's a cure I might be cynical but I don't trust today company that's allowed to make billions and billions of dollars on other people's misery they need to be forced to release their damn cures already and that's the God's honest truth or the people believe it or not it's all greed

I live thru the the same. Cheating partner but I always knew I never wanted to marry him. After 11 years I said enough is enough and got out of such a horrible relationship or whatever it was. I was scared to be alone at my age but now i see that it was the best decision I have ever made. You will find your inner strength to move on or he will push it out of you. It’s hard to be alone yes but it’s so wonderful to feel finally happy with oneself.
