Symptoms Of HIV Long-term Even With ART And Undetectable Viral Load

A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Hello all. Does anyone know if you can still experience symptoms of HIV even if you're on ART and have an undetectable viral load? If so, what are the symptoms like? How long does it take for these symptoms to appear?

That sounds very unpleasant- I'm sorry to hear this. Thank you for your response. I hope your symptoms get better soon. How is your viral load?

Great question I’ve been on art for 6 months Im undetectable but still have a swollen lymph node on my left neck which I know is from hiv cause it got enlarged a week after I got infected.also I’ve been having bladder pain and I’m peeing like 10 times a day and I don’t have diabetes or kidney issues. I went to a urologist and everything is normal. I’m assuming it’s the meds I’m taken or my immune system is overreacting. Love to here comments on this post
