I was recently diagnosed. Age 59. As I continue to take my meds and age and hopefully become undeteable does this mean the virus is still compromising my immune system while being dormant.

I just discussed this with my HIV doc the other day. The virus is always going to attempt to compromise, but to a massively lesser extent. In particular you starting at your age (and for certain me starting at mine) will do just fine undetectable for our natural lifespan and then some....
