Portion control for me

It does happen..pls try a low carb high protein diet..lots of fluids...🤗❤️

@A myHIVteam Member. I never had trouble gaining weight until age 45-50. Then, I started to gain, and could not lose weight as easily. At 60, I have been struggling the last few years to make changes that would improve my weight loss, and decrease the likelihood of type II diabetes. Reducing calories, portion sizes, number of daily meals, and couch potato-ing has only helped me not to gain further.

In the beginning of conversion I actually lost 15lbs from diarrhea and starting biktarvy. I didn’t like the way I looked so started eating protein bars and eating more. Now I gained 10 lbs in three months but I look so much better.however I seem to be creeping up on weight ever so slowly hoping it’s only temporary. I’m 166 lbs height 5”8 which is my ideal weight but I’m noticing my stomach is getting bigger so I’m mindful that I might need to cut back on my portions and exercise a bit. From what I hear biktarvy will make you gain weight but only like 3 or 4 lbs.
