Who here likes Elton John and his advocacy for people living with HIV. His music has affected countless lives in both good and bad ways. It all depends on how you perceive his music.
I've LOVED Elton since about 1971 when my cousin who was obsessed with him turned me on to him. I've got all his albums (yes, vinyl) and numerous magazines from the '70s. And even before becoming positive, I admired him for his HIV dedication and advocacy. And now that I'm positive, I have an even bigger soft spot for him! And luckily for us we can say: "I'm still standing!"
