How Quickly Do People Infected With HIV Develop AIDS? ...
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Untreated, HIV typically turns into AIDS in about 8 to 10 years. When AIDS occurs, your immune system has been severely damaged. You'll be more likely to develop diseases that wouldn't usually cause illness in a person with a healthy immune system.

I have to disagree with your answer. I was on and off medicine also while doing illegal drugs I had a Deathwish for the first five years of my diagnosis and I ended up with AIDS but now I’m undetected
