Truvada Two-Step Anyone?
So it's been some time since I've been on Truvada, however I've noticed that once I started on it many years ago, I have had a rather "shitty" time (and I mean that quite literally). Has anyone else ever had this problem, specifically with Truvada? If so, is there anything you have been able to do with it? Has a change of meds worked? It's better now that I'm on Triumeq instead, however it is basically Truvada and another medication rolled into one pill, so I'm wondering about perhaps changing… read more

It does become a quality of life and potentially lead to a syndrome called wasting. Absolutely talk to your doctor about all the other medications on the market that do not have the stomach upset side effect. Good luck.
I was on Truvada when I first started meds and it did the same thing to me. I am now taking Dovato and I no longer have this problem. You should talk to your I D. doctor to see what they recommend. Good luck in finding the right med or meds that works better for you.
