Ibuprofen, Kidney Problems And HIV.
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

My most recent bloodwork indicates trouble with my kidneys. My Infectious Disease doc said this could be because i take a lot of ibuprofen for muscle pain and ibuprofen is bad for kidneys. He suggested I switch to Tylenol. Just wanted to share that in case it isn’t common knowledge. Thanks for reading. Summer has finally come to Colorado after chilly, rainy spring.

Yes ibuprofen is bad for your kidneys I have stage 3 kidney disease and I cannot touch ibuprofen or I would end up on dialysis.

Her ibuprofen is bad for you're kidneys because when I was burnt from a fire they told me took ibuprofen for the pain but when I went to my next hiv doctor and told him I was taking them he suggested I take something less damage to my kidney s so I quit then them because the hiv pills we take are damaging our kidneys TTYL
