Well I got my test results back viral load. was 40 now 30. Cd 4 count was 653 now 653 I thought it would get higher. Cd4 cd 8 ratio 1.98 only thing out of range but just by a little was alkaline phosphates at 128 does anyone know what that is? All in all am I doing good with these numbers for being on meds for almost a year? Thanks

As per my last post thanks for all the great responses. I feel so much better I’m in the green zone. However lots of questions on what truly is undectable. So many different opinions even from doctors. We know the tests are getting more sensitive on viral load and soon I’m assuming that under 10 will be the new normal than the current under 20. In the last 20 years I have been hiv+, I've never seen a straight man portrayed in an hiv commercial. I have seen gay men , a trans woman , and african american women, but only 1 straight african man named "Earvin "Magic Johnson" or straight men and women.

How can we change that ?

What is the most ignorant thing you have heard people say about HIV?

With our Health experiencing various things throughout the year, our blood work mirrors that at times. What do your fluctuating numbers in your blood test mean to you?

This afternoon I got my final blood test results and a couple of tests that I saw had me concerned and those two are Nuclear Antibody and Nuclear Antibody Titer. The first one came back positive when it should be negative and the second test came back high. The question I’m asking is what do those two test’s mean and should I be concerned?

I’ve been reading a lot about the correlation between cd4 and cd8 ratio as an indicator of disease. Right now I have a low cd4 cd8 ratio. Some doctors don’t seem to care about the ratio while others say it can determine inflammation and possible other disease manifestations .my ratio might be low due to the fact my blood work was done before I became undectable.
