We have to have hope. Hope is the light that chases the shadow. If we lose our hope to be cured, than thats living in agony. Oneday...oneday we will be free from pills and shots. Someday the daily fears we hold due to hiv, will no longer weigh us down. Dont let the sinicle nature of our reality keep you from hoping and dreaming.

Until that incredible day of peace and freedom. We're here for one another, so no one suffers alone.

Someone correct me if I’m mistaken, but there’s currently no trial within a 10 year spectrum that would accomplish an actual cure. I know American Gene, through their BioTech Project, is working on a gene/cell therapy…
that is the closest we are to a cure as far as Im concerned, but there’s still a way to go and once they get it, the actual procedure would only be affordable by millionaires.

HIV has been cured....... twice
I don't think the question is when there will be a cure for HIV but when it will be scaled down to the rest of us.
I believe it will be in my lifetime.

Research in this field is very complicated due to very specific factors with reinfection of HIV in some of our organs such as the brain. I have attached an article for your enjoyment regarding this very topic. It is technical but scientific and necessary in response to this question.
