Im wondering , when pretty sick, that he only will see me every 3 months, even when i'm in pain and need help. Al he does is check my counts. As well as being a new id doctor, he swears that the medication im on. (Abacavir/Lamivudine & Isentress) Have no side effects. That my excessive amount of health issues and the regimen, has no part with my health issues. Do you think i should see a new doctor.

Why I'm asking is because my current hiv Doctor is leaving now I have to go to herrin, il . The person who infected me was a drug user also. So far it’s been 7 months since diagnosis I have hiv but so far I’ve been hep c negative. My doctor said 6 months after possible infection if I test negative for hep c I’m in the clear anyone concur with that. Also I heard hep c and hiv don’t play well together but I heard hep c can be cured?

My doctor of 11 years retired and I got no referral. Now, I can't find another who'll take me without a referral. I've recently gone through Covid induced pneumonia (recovering), so it's dangerous for me to be without medical care. Anyone in the BR area who can recommend a doctor, please do. Thanks.

Do you think your doctor has your best interests in mind. With all the information out there from sites like this and the internet it can be overwhelming and contradicting.

I have been having cold sores on my lips or the sides of my mouth ever since I found out I was positive . It's messing with my condence .
