Does anyone know of patients having issues with dental due to use of biktarvy. My teeth have started crumbling in the last few yrs but I also use to have a dependancy of narcotics so I've also been on suboxione for a few yrs too. I'm jus trying to find the link. Anyone. Further more I've been trying to get care for dental and all my area does is health insurance and if u need emergency abstractions they send u to a clinic. If you don't have a medical case manager, then you need to get one. If you have one, then you need to ask them about HOPWA to help pay for housing, ask them about ryan white food pantries for food. Ask them about Ryan White HIV/AIDS Part F: Dental Programs

Just about anything you need a medical case manager can help, but you have to be referred by them or they have to do the paperwork.
Here in Michigan Ryan White services bought me new clothes for work and job interviews. paid my electric bill for 4 months, paid my water bill for 4 months.
So ask about this Ryan White part F dental assistance. It's a first come first serve until funds run out for the year, then you have to wait until the next year to reapply. October is the beginning of the new fiscal year when they get funded, which is 3 months away.
And I think my body had a reaction to it cause me to have Inflammation of the brain
Ryan Wyatt.. u have to get enrolled at the HIV center n your area and get you a case worker.. they will get u to a dentist as well as glasses! 🤔🤔🤔
@A myHIVteam Member have you had any success yet at getting help? Here in Florida I get my dental through the Ryan White program.
Do you have a case manager, I keep in constant contact with my medical case manager which enlightens me on the programs available for different treatments such as housing and dental services. I had good teeth before the medication regimen and had to have them all removed due to bone loss but my dentures work and the smile is great. The medical facility that I frequent has a dental clinic on site but they don't accept my insurance so they do 80/20 split which I pay 20% of the bill and my case manager assists with a portion of my cost through programs available in the network.
