JUNE is pride month here in the USA for our members of the LGBTQ+ Persuasion although anyone can celebrate with us.
I’m curious how everyone will be celebrating and using this time for activism?
If for some reason I forgot this was Pride month the Target here in Broward county reminded me with their in store LGBTQ+ display.
So does anyone have any plans? πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Members shared their diverse ways of celebrating Pride month, from decorating homes with rainbow flags and wreaths to attending local parades and events across different cities. Several members described how their celebration styles have evolved with age, with some preferring quieter options like reserving a restaurant table along parade routes to enjoy festivities comfortably rather than being in large crowds. A recurring theme was pride as both a joyful personal expression and an opportunity to honor LGBTQ+ history, with members connecting over shared excitement for the season while respecting different comfort levels and ways of participating.

I can dig it.. I'll be turning 60 in a couple of weeks. What I've learned to do is to RSVP a booth or table by the window at a restaurant/bar along the parade route. There, I sit drink and eat while enjoying the festivities.πŸ˜šπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ§‘β€

I started decorating my house yesterday. I have a rainbow wreath for the front door and a huge rainbow flag for the yard. I always have rainbow windmills that I put in flower pots around the house . I also will be attending as many gay pride events as humanly possible.
