Thank you for such a revealing and needed article.Ive experienced stigma for being HIV+ and pain management definetly.Drs.usually associate. HIV with drug use so they won't give black women strong pain meds.to alleviate the pain.Were not drug seeking just want to be comfortable.Tylenol and ibuprofen just doesn't get it.

Another good article and it barely addressed black heterosexuals' and nothing about bisexuals. The few that I have spoken with are scared to disclose because they are immediately shamed because to many it is still "that gay disease." The culture is different for them. Sadly many are not seeking the mental health help that we all need. Pastor David
