Any One Had One Of The Vaccines For Covid?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Finally got an appointment for this Wednesday first dose. Wondered if anyone has gotten both shots and if you experienced any side effects, especially with having HIV?

Sometimes I wonder how they can get two vaccines out for Covid within months, and we are still waiting for one for HIV after 41 years+? Grateful for the Covid vaccine, but haven't you ever wondered why it has taken so long to make an HIV vaccine? Comments!

Everyone stay strong and well!

Any day now. We just got word that the vaccinations that was cancelled several weeks ago, in Maui county, will have priority and move to the front of the line. Whatever that means!
In the interim, I am just making certain I am on the defensive in protecting myself by doing everything we are supposed to do. That didn't work for me last year and I still can't figure where I got it even with the contact tracing in place.
It's just too easy to catch unknowingly. I will update soon as I am jabbed.
Aloha!

Oh yes! The Covid vaccine! I had the Moderna #1. Pain when inoculated but absolutely no pain at the site since. However that evening I felt very flu-ish but the next day perfectly fine.
