What Was Your Last CD4 Count?

Some countries no longer tell you what your CD4 count is if you are undetectable.
If you live in a country that still tells you your CD4 count, what was your last number?

Members openly shared their CD4 counts in response to a question about whether their countries still report these numbers for undetectable patients, with counts ranging widely from below 200 to over 2000, reflecting the natural variation in immune function even among those successfully managing HIV. Several members emphasized that remaining undetectable is what truly matters, noting that CD4 counts can fluctuate like blood pressure and don't always correlate with how healthy someone feels, while others shared encouragement about significant improvements from dangerously low counts at diagnosis to much healthier levels after consistent treatment. A recurring theme was reassurance and solidarity around the fear of low numbers, with members celebrating each other's progress and reminding one another that steady viral suppression and feeling well are the most important indicators of health.

My latest CD4 count was 224. The highest it has been was 365. I remain undetectable, and have been so for 5 years. What my ID doctor watches is the percentage of CD counts that are CD4. It stays stable around 23-25%.

Yeah my doctor talks more about my vital load. She says my viral load is what to be expected with HIV patience's. I'm still learning about this. Just over a month since being diagnosed.
