Missing 3 Doses Of Biktarvy.... What To Do?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I am outside currently in Russia and had some medication stolen from a hotel room. Through some contacts here I tried to find some meds but actually there is a huge shortage of meds here. So it is Wednesday and I took my last pill of Biktary. I land back in the U.S. on Sunday evening and should to immediately have pills waiting for me. But will miss 3 doses.

Is Biktary a forgiving drug? How much danger am I in at becoming detectable? Drug resistance?

Thanks

3 biktarvy in one day? Hmm I was told to not double up but just take the next dose as usual. I only take one biktarvy a day. Never heard of anyone taking more than one. My whole purpose was to get on it because it was 1 pill a day.

You should be fine but don't take all 3 at one time🌹one in the morning, evening, night....drink lots of water that night....then start back on your regular schedule 😇🙏🌹

You should be fine as long as you're safe I noticed each person reacts differently depending on metabolism and sometimes age
