Are You Concerned About Staying Heatthy?

Since being diagnosed with HIV, have you become more aware and fearful of germs, viruses etc. Do you take more precautions and take better care now than prior to being poz?

i drink lot of water, eat apples everyday stay away from red meat, wash my hands, avoid crowds esp in bad weather, take lot of vitamin c, d, magnesium zinc and exercise...worst thing i had to do was give up fried chicken....lol

Warm water and soap no sanitizer my immune was messed as a child the hiv made it worse small amounts of virus can help build your immune system get all my shots every year 24 years later my hiv counts are fine i don't live in fear i go out and do things i want to do some of the side effects suck one day at a time 23 meds a day

I wear a face mask at work in winter to avoid catching other people's germs. I use the antibacterial hand wipes at the stores to wipe the handles on the shopping carts.

Yes and Yes,,,not only do I rinse my hands often and live a healthy life but I watch my bones...Being diagnosed with severe bone degeneration I am careful of what I do now more than ever..eg..lifting , gym etc....having a fragile immune system , anything can throw me for a loop....doesn't seem to get easier over time..:(
