Clinical trials are administered in various ways. They can be using medication, intravenously, transfusion, stem cell replacemen etc....There is no cost incurred to the patient and a reimbursement for the day is usually allotted. All expenses are usually covered by the administrating practice. Patients must meet the qualifications of the clinical trial. At-risk patients will not qualify for these trials. The patients' health is number one in these trials and is monitored very closely. ❤️
It seems to me that a cure wouldn't help long term survivors like us. All the years of infection and drug issues would just reverse overnight? I know the body is miraculous, but that's asking a lot. I'm 67. Been positive longer than not. But then that's what studies are for. To figure things out. And yes I have been in studies where we didn't know if the drug would help, hurt, or worse. I would participate but the criteria could eliminate us. It depends upon the study. But I've always participated when I qualify.
Great we all hope cure comes and that comes from research and thanks to those who give yo it and take time for this I too have been in researches and hope to participate in others to help others
