By the way, I have only been on three different regimens since my diagnosis in 1995. I started with trizavir, then I went on Atripla and most recently I was switched to Genvoya. I have never blown a regimen, however I did have some compliance issues with the Trizavir. Currently, I am without insurance hence the reason I am off the meds. I will be eligible for employer based healthcare in June. Thanks all.

@A myHIVteam Member try ADAP again. Each state runs their ADAP differently. For instance some states Ryan White pays insurance and what it dont cover ADAP kicks in. Then in other states you can only have Ryan White or ADAP but not both. Some states might pay your entire ADAP, other States might pay partial ADAP. ADAP goes by income. Maybe in New York you made too much money based on the rules and higher living standard, but in Arizona things are cheaper so you could qualify. Each state runs ADAP differently. I belive you can not make more than 200% of poverty level. Each states poverty level is different.

Defiantly contact the company for Genvoya, they will make sure that you get the medication. I have insurance which covers most of the cost but what is not covered they take care of the balance. Before I had insurance they covered the full amount so check with them asap so you can get back on your meds.

My goodness. I live in the uk and we get our treatment free through the national health service. I am extremely fortunate. Kindest regards. M x

I am also on Genvoya. My current insurance has a 30% copay, which is about $1000 a month. They have an assistance program for those without insurance and those who need help with copay. Let me know if you want info on this program.
