Members who switched from Stribild to Genvoya generally reported no major side effects, with several emphasizing the importance of taking the medication with food to avoid nausea or vomiting. Many community members described Genvoya as easier on the kidneys and bones due to a less toxic form of one ingredient, with most staying undetectable and finding the single daily pill simple to manage. A recurring theme was weight gain as a potential side effect, with some members expressing frustration about not being warned in advance, while others switched to alternatives like Biktarvy or Dovato when side effects became problematic.

Genvoya is basically the same as Stribild with a slight change in one of the four components in it that makes it a whole lot easier on your kidneys. I switched also when Genvoya came out and have had no noticeable side effects.
