@A myHIVteam Member Thank you. Usually it doesn't bother me because 9 out 10 accept me for who I am. But that 1 that I really wanted to accept me, broke my heart into a million tiny pieces. It's so crazy how the word HIV can make someone look at you like your filth of the earth. I know I'll be alright, but I've worked hard on building up my self-esteem, just to let one heartbreak to knock me back 5 steps. Much love to you. 😘

I just put myself out there. This is what I want. Try to tell my status right away but never make it a topic of conversation, unless they want to. Rejection sucks. I’ve never let it get to me tho.
