Does Sex Play A Vital Role In Your Life?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

As we grow older our libido lessens. Trials have proven that HIV in the long-term does lessen our sex drive.
Is sex important to you in your current relationship? Does it play a factor when dating?

With many antivirals and treatments coming up the pipeline , inevitably there will be treatments and trials here in the United States and abroad regarding the treatment and cure of HIV and other diseases like cancer.

If A Twice YEARLY (every 6 Months) Treatment Was Available, Would You Take It?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Now that in the past 2 years the United States has went from a monthly shot to bimonthly shot for HIV treatment, long after Europe approved it, would you take a biyearly shot
As I always mention, Europe is ALWAYS ahead of the United States in HIV care. Europe has now approved a biyearly (every 6 months) HIV treatment. Right now, it is only available for people who have no other options because of medication resistance. Again, as usual, Europe is leading the way in HIV care. This is why I follow… read more

New Infor For People With HIV Receiving The Covid Vaccine:
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/inside-...(Phone number can only be seen by myHIVteam users)

AIDS Advocacy groups are protesting the companies producing the vaccine for not including persons with HIV into trials. Currently 1.2 million people in America are living with HIV/AIDS. I read one company, however, included 120 persons with HIV in a trial including 30,000 I believe. Out of those 120, one was placebo, the others got the vaccine and had no problems. But the jury is still out… read more

This Is For The Heterosexual People.
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

Most of HIV deals with gay men. Straight people with HIV probably feel left out with support, help, or somebody to talk to. My question for straight people is, how do you address things when people talk about HIV and how it's a gay disease, and how gays deserve it for being deviants. Or how do you address when people say, "it will never happen to me, I live a moral lifestyle."

Who Wants To Join A Zoom Chat?
A myHIVteam Member asked a question 💭

I have March 2 (Saturday) to March 9 (Saturday) off. Who's up for a zoom chat during that time(s)?
Usually around 2pm Eastern North American time works best for people around the world. That's about 10pm for Eastern African nations, which still is not too late, and about 8 or 9 am for Hawaii.
Australians will have to get up very early around 2 to 4am.
Last Zoom I tried, something came up last minute and couldn't do it. Now I have an entire week to make something happen, and not just 1 day.

A myHIVteam Member

Thanks @A myHIVteam Member. Appreciate you taking the time to Zoom.
