This is not a religious question but a factual one. Have you had any real life experiences where a loved one reached out to you in some form whether physical mental or spiritual...
... that you remember?

Members shared a wide range of personal experiences in response to the question about believing in spirits and whether loved ones have reached out after passing. Several members described vivid encounters including dreams from deceased relatives, unexplained sounds, moving objects, and animal reactions that felt like meaningful signs of connection. A recurring theme was that regardless of religious belief, many felt comforted by these experiences, with the shared sense that love and energy continue beyond physical life.

I love this conversation. I am not religious but spiritual.God is my higher power and I believe in the Bible which everyone interprets differently.Spirits and energy don't die but yes flesh does. For me God made away of life for me to follow.Man came along and made religion to fit his purpose. All of Life is spiritual. So yes I do believe that spirits can come to us in many forms.A voice, flowers, etc. as a reminder of God's Love.

oh for sure. I do not know if it was loved one reached out, but I DEFINATELY had spirits around me. I know i've had several more that I can't remember details, but here is some I do remember.
At my grandparents cottage, I always used to see a man who I didn't know, walking around the cottage. When I ran around the cottage to see who it was, there was nobody. Happened a few times.
Heard footsteps walking up the stairs at my grandparents house before, when I was the only one there.
Heard someone knocking on our door at my childhood home, I heard it mom heard it, my brother didn't. Mom asked if we heard it, I said yes my brother no. Checked the door where the knocking was nobody there (and there was no steps at that door to get in anyway, it was a 4 foot drop. Sat back down again knocking, the second time my brother DID hear it. Checked outside walked back to the back door from the outside, and there was no footprints in the snow.
Heard furniture moving around upstairs at my house several times when I lived alone, or would hear music playing. I was the only one in the house, no furniture was upstairs, or when I went to search where the music was coming from, it always switched spots.
Another time my dog was growling, never heard him ever growl like he did and never ever heard him growl the same since, anyway, he jumped off the couch ran into the dining room, made a quick u turn growling and barking the entire time, ran upstairs, and my roommate was yelling "WHO the F*CK ARE YOU?"
So yeah, I and my former roommate believe in spirits

Whether or not there are spirits gets into the territory of what we can experience. There is a certain something - and I am pretty happy to just stop there and acknowledge that life, living has a certain amount of mystery. What keeps us alive and moving somewhat independently? What exactly is that palpable spark I feel with some but not all?
