If we were all given a 'bank account' of time instead of years—where you could see exactly how many hours you had left—would you live more boldly, or would you become more afraid?
The risk I’ve been sitting on is actually living again instead of just getting through the day. Reaching out, rebuilding connections, putting myself back out there even when everything in me wants to stay shut down.
If I knew my time was lower than I thought, I wouldn’t spend it hiding or waiting to feel “ready.” I’d start moving, even if it’s messy and uncomfortable.
Because staying stuck is the bigger risk.
Oh hell I have lived on the edge most of my life so I guess I would remain the same sedate person that I have become in my old age .
Interesting question. I am most likely (but not certainly) in my final 10 years. But more of the truly risky stuff I did midlife.

I would spend more time with my husband our kids our grandkids and just family in general
