Tengo 50 años y hace 3 meses me infecte llevo 2 meses tomando mi tratamiento, puedo vivir 15 años sin problemas graves de salud
You can defiantly live 15 years with HIV.I know a lot of people who have been diagnosed since the 80's some even before there were medications. Some drank AZT and had to take 12+ pills daily, multiple times a day - HIV pioneers have made it so newly diagnosed people typically only have one pill made up of multiple HIV meds in it. If you take your meds regularly you should have few HIV medical complications other than maybe obtaining meds these days. If you have medical insurance or qualify for Ryan White services you should be fine. Mentally it might take a while to feel like yourself and get over the shock or fear.
Can you live more than 15 years with good health while managing HIV?

People who start treatment early and maintain it consistently can now live nearly as long as those Show Full Answer
