I accepted a new job (contract)
In a new field that I’ve been trying to get into for almost a year.
As it’s a contract position there aren’t any benefits. Which is terrible.
I live in a conservative state. ART isn’t covered by Medicaid.
Anyone know or have experience with Obama care?
I need insurance.

If the Congress doesn't come up with something for help with the marketplace subsidies, it will price you out of a paycheck. MY premium NOW is $917 on the marketplace and that IS WITH THE SUBSIDY. Yeah they had cheaper plans but this plan covered everything I needed. Without the subsidies being renewed, it's going from $917 a month to $1,974 a month. So now I am going through my employer. You only have until December 19 to get marketplace maybe it was the 15th, I don't know. But I'd checkout insurance companies websites as well. You might find a better deal on plans there than on the marketplace. Whatever you do, COMPARE, COMPARE, COMPARE.
Also, discuss this with your medical Case manager, you should be able to qualify for Ryan White program, that helps get you covered.
Apply for Ryan White. There should be an Aids Health Foundation in your area.
yes the drug manufacturers offer assistance as well. go to their website.
Cover all your bases including call the pharmaceutical company that makes Biktary and explain their situation because they usually have a charity program that they can give you the medication for free I'm looking at my bottle It looks like it's produced by Gilead and they're based out of California.
