Members responded to the question about being out, proud, and loud with a wide range of personal experiences tied to both sexual identity and living with HIV. Several members shared that their journeys took years of courage, shaped by faith, family expectations, and safety concerns, while others expressed being fully and unapologetically visible in their communities. A recurring theme was the importance of living authentically on your own terms, with many finding strength in community, advocacy, and gratitude for still being alive.
