That's a tricky subject as HIV meds do have a tendency to start increasing your blood pressure as well. Many HIV patients have cardiovascular disease and are on some type of statin and/or cardiovascular medication. Having said that it's crucial to lower stress when you can but almost difficult to impossible when it is a medical condition. What I try to do is smoke some indica cannabis that I have using the medical program here in Illinois and I like going to the gym and using their facilities. I am not as young as I used to be but I do the machines and use the equipment that will exhaust me so that I can have a good night's rest. I hope this helps.
Gym, yoga, cycling, running, tequila for me. Some stress doesn't go away and make peace with it. I have awful neighbors and demanding work sometimes. I just put my dog down and that stresses me not having her joy and love around used to relive and that's a situation that people discount even therapists but its severe and can last 6 mos-2. years. I just have to accept the lonely suffering. And its not about just getting another dog, its not a piece of broken furniture, but point is...pets relieve stress ENORMOUSLY.
Gym, walking/hiking, self care such as getting massages, listening to music, amusement parks, essential oils etc
