Today I actually logged in and have $400 I can donate I can split it amongst different charities. I wanted to donate to Ryan White but they weren't one of them there are about 20 other different HIV groups though including the Elizabeth Taylor foundation. Any suggestions on where I should donate the money? I am worried about funding going away for people that get HIV meds through Medicaid.

It's wonderful that you want to support HIV-related causes with your volunteer rewards! While the Ryan White program isn't available as an option, the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation is a reputable choice that has long supported HIV/AIDS initiatives. They work to ensure people living with HIV have access to care and medications, which aligns with your concerns about medication access.

Consider splitting your donation between multiple HIV organizations to create broader impact. Each organization may focus on different aspects of HIV support - from direct patient assistance to advocacy work that helps protect programs like Medicaid coverage for HIV medications. Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in supporting the HIV community. Many organizations work to provide financial assistance programs and advocate for continued healthcare coverage. By donating to established HIV foundations, you're helping ensure that people living with HIV can access the care and medications they need, regardless of their financial situation.

This is the advice I'd give. If you have a list you must go by, research each organization on that list. See if any of them offer some kind of HIV funding in anyway.
Second option would be take or email your list to your HIV case manager. Maybe they could help you decide.
A third option would be, donating it to a church or organization that offer HIV food pantries.
