Members opened up about rarely discussed aspects of living with HIV, with mental health emerging as a central theme alongside fears of disclosure, survivor's guilt, and the isolating weight of persistent stigma even decades after diagnosis. Several members shared practical concerns that complicate daily life, including the financial burden of expensive medications and healthy food, navigating disclosure in romantic relationships, dealing with body changes like weight gain and lipodystrophy, and worrying about aging with HIV and accessing care after retirement. A recurring theme was the community's frustration with outdated perceptions and laws, the need for better public education about U=U, and the longing for connection, with many expressing that people living with HIV often manage their health more diligently than those who remain untested yet continue to perpetuate stigma.

I do believe Healthy Sex Lives is the most important subject that is rarely talked about. Healthy relations leads to improved mental outlook and those abilities to then improve our lives through exercise, nutrition, and wellbeing. U=U and having healthy sexual boundaries helps us improve overall health without risking others.

Acceptance:
Many people live with fear(s).
Knowing them is acceptance.
Embracing them is acceptance.
Moving through them is powerful.
This is love. Know yourself is loving yourself.
Embracing your fear(s) is movement.
Embrace someone’s fear(s) and find yourself.
Hugs and cheers!

How its up to you now to make sure this disease doesn't spread to another person and how important being consistent with your medicine helps that happen.

Living with HIV isn't easy. Weight issues, the stress and anxiety that you get and how much it increases, wish there was a in person group hiv meeting place or something. I Feel alone and don't know whom to talk to without being judged.
