Well I was ready to die of Aids at the age of 37...Now Im nearly 66, having been on HIV treatment for 29 years. The problem is that lots of other things start to go wrong with your body when you get older. Prostate trouble,Cataracts, Joint Pain, Bladder Failure, Chronic Asthma,to name but a few. My Parents are deceased, Im completely alone, so sometimes I wonder if getting older was worth it.

I’m gonna be 60 I look like I’m 45 lol. Getting infected at 58 I guess only time will tell what happens as you get older. But I look at it this way. life expectancy in the United States is 79 so if I can deal with 20 more years Im good to go lol

I use to ask an 89 years old friend of mine:

“How are you doing today” she would tell me, “you know like an old house theirs always a leak someplace but I’m doing ok.”

Another friend use to tell me, “the older the fiddler the better the tune.”

These friend didn’t have the HIV bug.

As for me I’d would love to do more, only I don’t have my car with me here in Milwakee.
