I know many of you had COVID. Could you help @A myHIVteam Member with his research to show that antivirals did not help you stay COVID free.
Thank in advance.
I hope this helps your research @A myHIVteam Member.

Members shared widely varied experiences with COVID-19 in response to a question about whether antivirals kept them COVID-free, with some never contracting it while others had it multiple times, and symptoms ranging from none at all to severe cases requiring hospitalization. Several members emphasized that HIV antivirals like Biktarvy do not prevent COVID, though many credited staying current on COVID vaccines and boosters with reducing symptom severity, while others attributed staying healthy to consistent handwashing, masks, and supplements like vitamin D and zinc. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of the virus, with members acknowledging that each person's immune system responds differently, and many expressing gratitude for survival, faith, and the support of loved ones through their recovery journeys.

The answer is that nobody knows. Do we know why millions of people died of COVID throughout the world while others did not? We don't. Like HIV and cancer we don't know why things happen to different people at different times. All we can do while we're here is to take the best care of ourselves so we can live the longest. ❤️

I got it a year ago in August had all my shots and boosters - didn't get it until I began working in a hospital and caught it within less than two months. Symptoms were mild and I just slept for about a week. I have NOT got all my sense of smell all the way back though..

So I had Covid...it was nothing more than a cold..it lasted less than a week...I had one bad day of aches and pains...whether my HIV drug had anything to do to lessen Covid for me...who's to say...im up to date with my vaccinations, but I suffer from Bronchitis and I've had way worse illness from that...

Thanks @A myHIVteam Member. Yes I figured there must be. But my local clinic wasn't advising me to come in for that.

When we tested COVID poz last Christmas I asked about retesting at my docs office. I was told that with the home test I would for 90 days. (Approximately).
