Any opinions on last nights presidential debate.Unfortunately Biden did not do so well and trump gave us the same old song and dance like he always does. While this is off topic on an HIV site in a way it is not. Many of our lives depends on the government letting us have access to medicine and treatment for the many who don’t have health insurance through there job etc. and just the compassion from a president can go along way on HIV policies. @A myHIVteam Member. You have adopted the Right's talking points which come from Donald Trump. Nothing he says can be backed up by reality. He makes up his reality as it suits him in the moment to pump his own ego, and scare you into thinking the USA is in some kind of decline. The only decline occurred under Trump. We now have the strongest economy in the world. The USA has actually lifted the rest of the world with the strength of our economy. The scary immigrant is a racist trope. The people who come here are the people the US economy needs to fill many of the jobs, like agriculture, that are currently under manned. We are producing fewer offspring. Without immigrants, we will soon have a retired population that dwarfs the working population. Big problem for many western nations. Please look into alternative news sources. Your fear is being used to manipulate you.❤️
I'm still voting libertarian like I have for the past 16 years. So yes @A myHIVteam Member, there ARE more than 2 people to choose from. I always wonder why people always belive that they only have 2 choices, when there is ALWAYS 5 people to choose from on the ballot of different parties.
Brad3 it’s my understanding that if you have been diagnosed with HIV, you automatically qualify for state insurance (Obama Care) as for the presidential debate. I agree with you about Trump. He doesn’t deserve to be president. He’s a bully, narcissistic, ignorant asshole. Regardless of how Biden did, I’m voting for him because he’s the lesser of 2 evils. I’m democrat through and through. Informed political discussion is lovely I think. Where it gets messy is when people start making facts up on the fly. There is no discussion whether political or otherwise when one party can't focus on reality. Which is not to say we don't necessarily see the same things differently. Exploring how we see it differently and why is one way we learn.
@A myHIVteam Member, as you see, I'm not taking either side. So don't come to me with facts, when you know zippo about my stance. That's all I have to say about the matter. I have my opinion on the subject, and nothing is coming out of my lips about either side of the subject. I am a big boy, I can do my own research, I don't need help from either side.
