Now That Summer Is Upon Us Here In The Northern Hemesphere Of Earth, Does The Heat Affect You More With Having HIV?

Do you feel more tired? Does the heat make you more sick? What is your ideal temperature? Don't forget to put your temp in °F or °C. Do you tend to move slower in the heat? Do you stay inside more?
For those south of the equator who are going into winter, does the cold affect you by having HIV? What about depression from staying inside and not getting enough daylight?

To me it's not the heat that bothers me, it's the humidity. With no humidity ideal temp mid 80's F. With humidity more like mid 70's F.Then again I am cold blooded and like my reptile brothers I enjoy basking in the sun. Can't sleep if the room is less than 76 F.

I always dread summer at my house. Way to hot 110f to 115f and occasionally 120f. But that is the Palm Springs area of California during summer. So during the summer I try to go to the coast (Oxnard CA) as often as possible. I have a friend with a condo there that I stay in. My little boy and I have a great time there.

The heat itself does not directly affect HIV, but individuals with HIV might experience more discomfort or health issues during hot weather due to their overall health condition. It's important for those with HIV to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and manage their health carefully, especially if they have other conditions that could be exacerbated by the heat. Always consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice and to ensure that any symptoms are properly managed during the summer months.
