Answer Summary
Members exchanged warm greetings and helpful tips about translating between English and Spanish.
If you're talking about this site to translate, you don't need to anymore.
At the top of the page there is an English/Espanol toggle.
English speakers will of course be on the English toggle and our Spanish speakers will be on the Espanol toggle.
When you write, no matter what language, it automatically gets translated for the other person speaking the opposite language.
So everyone who responds in Spanish automatically gets translated to English. Everyone who responds in English automatically gets translated in Spanish.
I travel internationally a lot, not fond of Google Translate as it misses idioms and colloquialisms. It can look foolish. (Happens a lot in advertising people think that other languages are word-for word to ours, the Chevy Nova was an example, it means no-go in Spanish) and AI is good for it, Microsoft has a popular translator app and there are apps that will even listen to, translate it and then speak it back too.
You can write in English and the other person can press the Spanish option on top of the page to read what you wrote in Spanish
@A myHIVteam Member does it again!! ❤️🤠👍
As I was reading the posts down from @A myHIVteam Member original question, I kept thinking "No, no..." to each answer until I got to @A myHIVteam Member. "The myHIVteam English/ Spanish automated translation service"🎶🎉🎈Not that the other answers aren't valid. My money was on the service already supplied by myHIVteam. Why go out, when you can dine at home(?)🤠
