Members responded thoughtfully to the question of whether they are happy with how their lives turned out, with most expressing contentment even while acknowledging they would have made different choices. A recurring theme was making peace with the past, with several members noting that hard times brought balance, growth, and perspective, and that happiness is ultimately a choice. Many also shared that health challenges, grief, and loneliness are real struggles, but community, faith, purpose, and gratitude help carry them forward.

Am I happy with my life? I'm not sure that matters to me. Happiness is a choice. I'm happy with parts of my life, and I'm flatly miserable with others. Striving to make positive, incremental changes. I've been POZ for over 20 years. Right now I'm working on personal wellness. I've lost 200 pounds, I have about 20 pounds to go. I start back working with a personal trainer tomorrow. I've started therapy, and I'm impatient to make changes that take time.

There is still plenty of living yet to do. I love life and enjoyed 29 years teaching in the classroom. So many former students are on my FB and in my travels I have met up with several around the country. Are there things I would do different, absolutely. I am not done squeezing the juice out of life.

Thank you all for answering that question. And thank you all for being sincere and genuine in your answers. For me personally I am happy. My only setback is my health. As some of us here who have been positive for over 30 years can attest sometimes other things start to fall apart. For me it's my skeletal system. I wish I had the body of my 20-year-old self again because it's painful to go through this every day. I am happy but boy does it suck getting old.

I am happy with where I am at at this point in life. I do look back and wish I had done some things differently. But what is done is done, so on to the future.
