Members openly shared their CD4 counts in response to a question about where others stand, with numbers ranging widely from 175 to over 2800, reflecting different stages of treatment and individual immune responses. Several members celebrated reaching undetectable viral loads and rising CD4 counts after switching to newer medications like Biktarvy, while others shared stories of resilience, including one member who defied a five-year prognosis from 2002 and is thriving today. A recurring theme was concern and support for a member unable to afford antiretroviral medications, with the community offering heartfelt encouragement to seek patient assistance programs and not give up on accessing treatment.
