Social media is an extremely powerful tool in modern society and misinformation spreads like wild fire and things like cancel culture are cruel and ruthless. No person has the right to be judge, jury and executioner and with cancel culture the general public takes on all three roles as if they are entitled to control someones life and well being. It can go far in a very short amount of time and the victims can be left helpless and a time when the help is seemingly a life or death situation. I would never wish harm on another living thing but as a victim of cancel culture, it would be interesting to see how some of the people that "canceled" me would fair. I am a highly resilient person with a books worth of trials and tribulations and I barely made it out alive before people started shifting their focus. I still have hope for mankind but I think a revolution is in order. A revolution where people minding their own business and not being so easily influenced but what they see on tiktok, becomes the social norm. The general public should abandon singling out individuals for mistakes they've made or situations that don't involve them and go back to minding their own business and learn to live and let live thought process, unless it directly involves them. They need to remember that no one is perfect and humans are sentient and allowed to navigate their own life how they see fit and just because it's not right for them doesn't mean its not right. Thanks for the rant sir, I really needed to get that out. 😘
