Members reflected on the deeply personal question of what they would do if they met the person who infected them, with responses ranging from anger and hurt to forgiveness and acceptance. Many community members shared that over time they chose to let go of resentment, acknowledging their own role in not using protection and recognizing that some people did not know their own status. A recurring theme was the power of forgiveness, not for the other person, but for one's own peace and healing, with several members expressing that moving forward and living well felt like the most meaningful response.

I know who infected me , I got very mad in those days.. he knew was positive , he was educated about HIV. But he didn't Care.. I refused to confront him.. because I found out , that it was also my responsibility to protect myself. And I didn't...was too late to complain..

I'm an adult I knew I was supposed to use protection. Things happen and he didn't know his status. I can forgive and move forward holding onto the past does not help anyone.

There is not much to say to the person. I forgave for the assault and passing HIV to me. It was not for him it was for me. I hope for the best for him. Life is about living and not letting the past hold you down. The best revenge is to shine and excel in life.

I know who it was. He didn't know he had it and I take responsibility for my actions. Sucks I have to suffer for loving someone.
